Incarnation?

On Christmas Day from the Vatican in Rome to the Protestant world, it celebrates what is known as the "incarnation," meaning that at one time in history God became a human being.

The trinitarian teaching is that it was only the "man" part of Jesus who was conceived and then the "God" part of Jesus came along and merged with his "man" part in Mary's womb, but it was only the "man" part who was born. That scenario is just not the truth.

Nowhere in the new testament does it teach that Jesus had a "God" part that merged with his "man" part to form a "God-man."

The incarnation is nothing but speculation - there are no scripture verses that support such a teaching.

There is a big difference between speculation and fact and we must hold fast to the facts that are actually taught in the scriptures and reject extra-biblical teachings.

Why would we accept the incarnation doctrine as truth when the scriptures teach so overtly and strongly that the Father is the ONE God?

To believe in the incarnation is to turn away from the truth that the Father is the ONE God.

The Father alone is God

1Cor 8:6- yet unto us is there but ONE God, which is the Father,..
Eph 4:6- ONE God and Father of all,..
1Tim 2:5- For there is ONE GOD (the Father), and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
Mark 12:29- Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is ONE Lord:...
John 17:3- And this is life eternal, that they might know thee (the Father) the ONLY true God,
Malachi 2:10- Have we not all ONE FATHER? hath not ONE GOD created us?....
Rev 4:2- And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and ONE sat on the throne.
Mark 12:29- Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is ONE Lord:...
Mark 10:18- And Jesus said unto him, why callest thou me good? there is none good but ONE, that is, God (the Father).
Luke 10:21-In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth,...
Matt 11:25- At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth,...
Psalm 86:10- For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.
The new testament absolutely does not teach that Jesus was incarnated or that he has two natures.

The new testament teaches that Jesus was conceived (created) by the Father in Mary's womb and was a human being, made like unto his brethren.
