Logical question. Does Jesus have a God?
Not one verse of Scripture has Jesus claiming to be God (YHWH). He said the FATHER is our God and the Father is his God.
Jesus has a God.
(John 20:17)
“Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.”Question: Does it really make
sense that the “Most High God” can be in submission to the “Most High God” (1 Cor.15:28)?
Jesus never said he is the Father. Though man would like to confuse us, Jesus would never confuse us by saying he is God and our Father and then turn around and say our Father is his God. Jesus is not the Father, he is the Son of God, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 1:17
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.Romans 15:6
…so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.2 Corinthians 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort…1Corinthians 8:6
"but there is to us only one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we by Him."Ephesians 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.1 Peter 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!Jesus, the Messiah, still has a God in Heaven, who is the Father of all (Eph. 4:6). See following:
Revelation 3:12
Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name.Revelation 3:21
To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne.Revelation 1:6
…[Jesus] has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father– to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.
