“Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth BY MYSELF;” (Isaiah 44:24)This verse shows that it was GOD who created the heavens and the earth. He did it by Himself, with no assistance. Jesus was not an agent in creation.
Elsewhere in Isaiah God (Yahweh) Himself says,
The creed of Israel“That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.” (Isa. 45.6)
has always been,
And confirmed by Jesus in Mark 12:29.“Hear, Israel. The Lord our God is one Lord,” (Deut. 6:4)
Concerning Isaiah 44:24, a person said,
First of all, Jesus is NEVER called YAHWEH or JEHOVAH.Isaiah 44:24 says that God was alone in his creation, so how come there is no mention of Jesus? That’s because Jesus is God, so God was indeed alone when he made his creation:
Secondly, if God (Jesus) was alone when He created the heavens and the earth, my question then is, WHERE WAS THE FATHER and the "shy" third member? Remember, this person says Jesus was ALONE, and Scripture also says, “BY MYSELF.”
In the Old Testament we are told,
The Hebrew word rendered “alone” means “in a state of separation, by one’s self” (Brown, Driver and Briggs, Lexicon of the Old Testament, p.94).“You, God, even You alone, You have made the heaven…the earth and all things” (2 Kings 19:15).
“You are the Lord, even You alone; You have made the heaven, the earth and all things” (Neh. 9:6).
Elsewhere in Isaiah God (Yahweh) Himself says,
This same person teaches that Jesus is not the Father, but yet says Jesus is God and therefore it was JESUS who did it all by Himself! In Malachi 2:10 we read,“That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.” (Isa. 45.6)
Again, where was the Father? How can this person teach Jesus is not the Father? The only conclusion is that this person would have to teach that Jesus is also the Father to try and fit him in there somewhere in the trinitarian doctrine.“Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us?”
Why is there no mention of Jesus? Because God alone created the heavens and the earth.
The person ends in part with, “Why fight against the Bible’s clear teaching that Jesus is God?”
It is this person who is fighting against the Bible’s clear teaching that Jesus is not God. He is the SON OF GOD. Christ was the promised Messiah and is always distinguished from the Father.
Even in Paul’s greetings he begins by distinguishing between God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. (See ex. Rom. 1:1,7-9; 1 Cor. 1:1,3; 2 Cor. 1:1-3; Gal. 1:1-3; Eph. 1:1-3; Phil. 1:1-2; Col. 1:1-3; 1 Thess. 1:1; 2 Thess. 1:1-2; Philemon 1:1,3; Titus 1:1,4). Not to mention, if the holy Spirit is a full-fledged member of the trinity, why does Paul so consistently omit this from his letters that it is?
Concerning Paul’s epistles, Peter warned,
After Jesus’ resurrection he says,“…as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; wherein are some things hard to be understood, which the ignorant and unstedfast wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.”
“Why fight against the Bible’s clear teaching that Jesus is God?” Because Jesus is not God! Why fight against these clear teachings from Jesus himself and other passages? Jesus is not God, Jesus has a God and is not the same person as God. If ‘Lord’ Jesus means ‘God Jesus’, then the God Jesus has a God? The Scriptures are clear Jesus has a God and is not God:“Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.” (John 20:17)
How clear is that? No one – not God, not Jesus, or even the apostles were trinitarians.Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 2Cor 1:3
The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not. 2Cor 11:31
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Eph 1:3
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. Eph 1:17
We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you. Col 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 1Pet 1:3
Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 2John 1:3
(Jesus is speaking) Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. Rev 3:12
Now people might think they can throw the term “antichrist” at those who believe what the Scripture says about Jesus and the Father. Who would be the antichrist except those who have been deceived to believe the unbiblical trinity teaching? Are they not teaching against the words of God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ? I no longer want to be antichrist, and I pray for all my brothers and sister that all would wake up and see this deception of the trinity for what it really is. Antichrist!
I know some will start quoting other passages of Scripture while ignoring the very truth stated here. So we must get some understanding that will not contradict what God and Jesus have said.
Jesus never calls himself the Father, and he never said he was God. He says his Father is the ONLY TRUE GOD. I do believe we should believe what Jesus says and stick with his creed. What is the great and first commandment?
Jesus’ prayer just before his crucifixion concerning everlasting life was,And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is: “Hear, Israel. The Lord our God is one Lord,” Mark 12:29
How clear is that? One may deny this, but all the fancy words and all the philosophical explanations and the perverting of other passages of Scripture does not change this truth from the lips of Jesus himself and Scripture as a whole.“And this is everlasting life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.”
Who is really against Christ? Is it those who believe what God our Father and what the Lord Jesus Christ says, or those who do not believe what both have said because they have been deceived to believe in the man-made trinitarian teaching? They profess to know God but yet go against the very first and great commandment to believe what Jesus says, that, “The Lord our God is one Lord.”
Do we really love Christ? Then we must abide by his teachings, for the apostle John tells us,“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:”
As Paul says,Everyone transgressing and not abiding in the doctrine [teaching] of Christ does not have God. The one abiding in the doctrine of Christ, this one has the Father and the Son. 2Jn 1:9
We need to get rid of the emotional bondage attached to believing a lie. Once we begin to believe on the solid foundation about God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ, the holy Spirit will guide us the rest of the way. Man (mostly trinitarian scholars and commentators) have tampered with the translation of the Scriptures to fit their own trinitarian belief, but thank God we have enough witness in the Scriptures that contradict their translation and their commentary. God is not the author of confusion and will not contradict Himself.Examine yourselves, whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. 2Co 13:5
Remember what Jesus said,
“And this is everlasting life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.”
AMEN!!! Excellent teaching!!
