An Image is a Representation Separate From the Original

When speaking of Christ being the “image of God,” the Trinitarian thought is to try and convince people that the image is God Himself!  The Scriptures tell us that God made man in His image.  Does this mean that we are God Himself?

An image is a picture that is produced by a camera, artist, mirror, etc.

The Trinitarian teaching is to have us believe that “image” means “manifestation” of God.  The word image, in the common use and sense of the word, does not mean “manifestation” of God.  An image is a representation separate from the original.  There was an image of Caesar on a coin, there is the “image” of the beast in Revelation 2, Christians are changed into the “image” of the Lord Messiah as we reflect his glory (2 Cor. 3:18).

The Trinitarian teaching has changed

Jesus is not the Creator of the Original Creation, but is Co-Creator in the New Creation

 Jesus did not yet exist and was not the creator in Genesis 1.  However, Jesus is the Co-creator of the New Creation.

Concerning Rev. 3:14, it does not go back to the original creation.  The following explanation is most plausible to me.

...These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God.

Problem:

Jesus and His Origin as Son of God

If Jesus was “going back” to God (as NIV mistranslates the Greek in John 16:28), he could not have been a human being, and Mary could not have borne the lineal descendant of David. And if Jesus was not the descendant of David, he could not have been the “son” of David and thus could not have been the Messiah (see Matt. 1:1 for his identity as the blood descendant of King David and of Abraham).

God Alone Has Immortality

One thing which is stated with great frequency about Jesus is the fact of his atoning death.  But if Jesus is God, he cannot die; if he can die, he is not God.   For one fundamental truth about God in the Bible is that He is eternal, everlasting, immortal (Duet. 32.27; Ps. 92, etc); there is absolutely no question about this where the Bible is concerned.  Paul speaks of God as the One “who alone has immortality” (1 Tim. 6:16).  Everything else will pass away, but God abides forever, His “years have no end” (Ps. 102.25-27).

So trinitarianism is faced is faced with the question:

Before Calvary, the devils were very busy.  The Bible explains their characteristics. They have personality and intelligence (Mark 1:23-25), they have ability to make decisions (Mat 12:43; Mat 12:44), have superhuman strength (Mark 5:4), they delight in “vexing” mankind (Luke 6:18; Acts 5:16), they are classified as “wicked” with degrees of wickedness (Matt. 12:45), and have the capability of inhabiting the human body and the bodies of animals (Mark 5:8; Mark 5:13; Luke 8:2).

Carnal is Not Always Evil

When you hear or read the word “carnal,” what is the first thing that comes to your mind?  Many will think what Paul said, “…but I am carnal, sold under sin.”  Of course Paul is making a contrast of a person’s condition as a sinner before making a commitment to Christ and obeying His commandments.

The modern assumption is that the word carnal has to do with being exclusively sinful.  But the Scripture has a much broader meaning of the word.  The use of the word carnal may range from anything that is

“For in Him the Whole Fullness of Deity Dwells Bodily.” Col. 2:9

For in him the whole fullness of deity (some have “Godhead”) dwells bodily…  Col. 2:9

 The trinitarian belief would try and convince us that this is talking about Christ being God (Yahweh), that is, being of the same substance or equality.  Earlier Col. 1:19 made it clear that,

“God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,”

and John 3:34 clarifies,

“For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the spirit without limit.”

Elohim - The Plural Form (Gen. 1:26)

In Genesis 1:26, it is claimed by trinitarian dogma that God is having a conversation with Jesus.

There is nothing in Genesis that proves God is speaking with Jesus. That God is speaking with someone else is true, however, one would have to prove that it is Jesus God is speaking with, where trinitarian dogma teaches Jesus is the co-creator of the original creation.

Elohim
As far as Elohim? If Elohim means “Gods” in Genesis 1:1 (where the verb is singular, “He,” not “they created”) how does one explain Psalm 45:6 where the Messianic king, a singular person, is addressed as Elohim? Why is Moses Elohim (Ex. 7:1)? Was he a plural person? Dagon is called Elohim (I Sam. 5:7), is he more than one god? So is Chemosh called Elohim (Jud. 11:24) and Baal in I Kings 18:24.

Jesus prays to his Father and his prayer is that we get to know his Father who is the ONLY TRUE GOD, but yet his very words, whom they say they love and call their Savior, are ignored and dismissed in order to cling to a trinitarian doctrine that neither he

What God Do You Love and Obey?

A person wrote to me who would defend the trinity doctrine.  After reading many posts I have shared this person went back and studied the scriptures and came to the conclusion that the trinity doctrine is a lie.  One of my statements that got the person really thinking was when I posted the following:

God Created the Heavens and the Earth So Jesus is God?

“Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth BY MYSELF;”  (Isaiah 44:24) 

 This verse shows that it was GOD who created the heavens and the earth.  He did it by Himself, with no assistance.  Jesus was not an agent in creation.

Elsewhere in Isaiah God (Yahweh) Himself says,

“That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.” (Isa. 45.6)

We are told in Scriptures that “No one has seen God at any time.” (John 1:18; 1 John 4:12)  Is that a lie?

Many are claiming that God was literally “seen” and cite passages to promote the Trinity and/or Deity of Jesus.  The doctrine of the Messiah falls or stands on this issue and passages are quoted while discarding the Hebraic mind set (which we need to try and understand).  When God’s words

Have You Resisted Unto Blood, Striving Against Sin?

So often we hear that if we are not under the chastisement of the Lord for our sin(s), then we are not one of God’s children. Can you imagine?  If we really give this some thought, what it really boils down to is that one should be living in sin in order to prove one is a child of God!  Of course this would make sense since everyone is taught that we sin every day in thought, word and deed.  This leads me to wonder, what chastisement is one receiving everyday since they claim to sin daily?  How did God chastise them?  What method did God use?  And if we really think about it, their whole life would only be about sinning and chastisement.  Will there ever come a day when the sin will stop so the chastisement will stop?  Don’t they teach that chastisement is supposed to teach us a lesson?  What lesson is learned for that day concerning the sin or sins they have committed?  If they stop sinning, the chastisement must stop, correct?  But if you are not under chastisement, then you are accused of not being a child of God!  Does this mean I must make sure I am sinning everyday just to confirm God does love me because He will chastise me for sinning against Him?

Paid in Full?

PAID IN FULL!  Really? Just about every preacher will say, “IF you fail to confess your sins (1 Jn. 1:8-9), you will certainly be chastised (Heb. 12:6) over your disobedience to divine sovereignty and consequently run the risk of being killed by God prematurely (1 Jn. 5:16) for shaming His Holy name!”

This may make sense to the reformed mind, but it’s repugnant to sound doctrine (1 Tim. 1:10, Tit. 1:9). The Bible never says God will kill His children early as a way of discipline if they continue in sin. This is pure myth. Why is it God never wiped Paul off the face of the earth who they like to call the “Chief of Sinners?” (Which Paul was talking about his FORMER life, not as a follower of Christ!)

Some people still seemed to be confused by James and Paul because they both use Abraham as their illustration.

Note: Paul was talking about WORKS OF THE LAW while James was talking about WORKS OF FAITH.

The works Paul talks about in Romans 4:2 and Galatians 2:16 (and in other places) are not the same works James talks about (faith proven by works).  Paul talks about “the works of the law,” which he is referring to ceremonial works that can be done by anyone who is willing (circumcision, Sabbath-keeping, not eating pork, etc. etc.).

God’s Word Does NOT Teach Generational Curses

If ‘generational curses’ are biblical, how come Jesus, Paul, Peter, James, John or anyone else never mention this teaching? There is one major verse taken from the second commandment to try and prove generational curses.

“You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. Ex. 20:4-6 (see also Deut. 5:8-10)

Is there anything in the passage about a curse? Does it even mention the word ‘curse’?  Many things are read into a text that are not there.

Makest thyself God? (John 10:33)

The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

All Jews were strict Unitarian monotheists and would not have imagined the Supreme God in the Trinitarian view as three persons in one God.  In the Greek text it does not have the definite article before the word “God” as in the Supreme God, the LORD God.  In Western mind of thought that whenever we see the word “God,” we automatically think of the Supreme God.  This is not the case in the Hebrew mind.

If Jesus is God, What Does This Say About God?

1. God begat [brought into existence] God (Heb. 1:5).
2. God humbled himself (Phil. 2:8).
3. God died (Phil. 2:8b)
4. God [the Son] changes to a fleshly human (Jn. 1:14)
5. God gave his blood

It is Impossible to Renew Them?

Do you think you have committed a sin or sins that are beyond God’s forgiveness?  One can stray away, but it does not mean it is too late.  I know of a person where someone had used the passage in Hebrews 6 to convince the person that they could never be forgiven.   Here is what she said,

God Will Present You Faultless With No Conditions?

There is a passage of Scripture that is commonly twisted from its context. Jude 24 says,

“Now unto him that is ABLE to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory…”

Once Saved, Always Saved advocates always talk about how all the saints sin everyday in thought, word, and deed.  They are considered no different than the average unsaved sinner.

This certainly is an argument used by OSAS advocates.  They don’t believe that once a person is saved that he cannot be unborn again when he sins.

The problem with this is that the argument is based on natural fact and then applied to the spiritual.  Their mistake is to argue from the natural to the spiritual just to defend a teaching that is not Biblical.  They base things on human reasoning from nature.  For instance,

We Are Not Covered with Jesus' Righteousness

It is unfortunate that many are not aware that nowhere in the Bible does it say we are covered or imputed with Jesus' righteousness.  The fault belongs to those who teach this from the pulpits, streets, books, and TV platforms.  However, we are at fault as well for not opening our bibles and reading for ourselves to see if what we are taught is true.  I was just as guilty.  We have always been taught that we can trust the preachers.  What preacher would lead us astray, right?

We must not only read, but also use the common sense God gave us.  For instance, how can moral character be transferred from one person to the next?  The fact is:

 

Moral character cannot be transferred.

The false doctrine of Once Saved, Always Saved (OSAS) would have us believe that Jesus’ righteousness is imputed to us.

Nowhere does the Bible say this. One of the Scriptures used to try and prove this is “the righteousness of God.” That says nothing of Jesus’ righteousness imputed (by impute they mean transfer) to us.

Abandoning the Faith?

I find it ironic that I have been accused by my friends that I am the one "abandoning the faith" and that "my salvation is in danger" because I have decided to renounce the traditional trinity teaching that is accepted as the norm. In the mean time they say I have "been warned" and they must walk away from the friendship, but will continue to pray for me in hopes that I "return to the faith." If I don’t, we all know what this means! I'm doomed for hell if I don't return to practicing to idolatry.

However, when I point out Scripture that warns us

Where is the practice of “pleading the blood” of Jesus found in Scripture?

There seems to be a profound practice of manipulating God by “pleading the blood” of Christ. It seems that the blood is supposed to hold some magical formula. Do you need a new house? Plead the blood. Need a job? Plead the blood. Need to cast out a demon from someone? Plead the blood. Pray salvation for your loved ones? Plead the blood.

If pleading the blood of Jesus is so important, why do we not read this in Scripture or even its practice? Some even talk about the “covering of the blood,” and the “protection of the blood.”

Flesh is Not Sinful in Itself

Original Sin Advocates: Our bodies are made of sin and causes us to sin.

Sin is not a substance.

Sin is a violation of God’s law (1 Jn. 3:4). God’s law tells us the types of choices we should and shouldn’t make (Exo. 20:3-17), not what type of body or nature we should or shouldn’t have.

God is the author of our flesh (Exodus 4:11, Isaiah 44:2, Jer. 1:5).

Our flesh is made out of dirt (Gen. 2:7, Gen. 3:19).

It is true that our flesh is the occasion of our sin, or the source of temptation (James 1:14), but sin itself is a choice (John 5:14, John 8:11, Rom. 6:12; Rom. 6:19 Eph. 4:26). Flesh is nothing but an inanimate conglomerate of biological tissue, it has no moral quality.

Idolatry in the Camp?

I used to admire the "holiness" preachers - their sermons were strong against sin, iniquity and falsehood. They we're not afraid to be straightforward and expose those who taught/lived contrary - and their efforts were driven from what the bible "says". Yet all of them believe/affirm the doctrine of the trinity and the deity of Christ ... Is this not an error? Is this not falsehood? Isn't worshiping, praying, obeying to the trinity sin? What's the use in being strong against lies, sexual immorality, drunkenness, violence, foul language ... when there's idolatry in the camp?!?!? God judged/destroyed Israel in the wilderness, not for any other sin except idolatry (ie. see the golden calf). 

It's easy to speak against what 's non-controversial - but preacher friend, if you're a Trinitarian, you've already broken the 1st commandment! To everyone else who listens to these preachers - how different are they from "prosperity" preachers?!?!? They all still embrace this gross error. 

Mystery of Godliness (1 Tim. 3:16)

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.”  1 Timothy 3:16

Other versions read:

“By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory.”

Note there is nothing in the verse that is speaking about neither the “mystery of the godhead,” nor the “mystery of the trinity” or anything consisting

Does Jesus Have a God?

We must not put aside common sense and our God-given reasoning capabilities on the back burner when it comes to Scripture.

Logical question.  Does Jesus have a God?

Not one verse of Scripture has Jesus claiming to be God (YHWH). He said the FATHER is our God and the Father is his God.

Jesus has a God.

(John 20:17)

“Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.”

“He [Jesus]  said to them, But who do you say I am?  And Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.  Jesus answered and said to him, You are blessed, Simon, son of Jonah, for flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but My Father in Heaven.”

As with Peter, this is a revelation recently given to me as well from God the Father concerning His Son.  The only way I can describe it is that the light bulb did not give off any light until I saw the light.  As long as I was defending and believing in the Trinity doctrine, that revelation was hidden from me.  God the Father will not talk until we are ready to listen. As I said before, this is new for me and I am not yet well equipped to answer all the objections.  All I can do is study and lean on the holy Spirit to guide me into all truth as promised he will do.

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

If word has not gotten around yet that I have gone apostate and have denied the Faith, I want to personally give you my testimony concerning the Trinity Doctrine.  I realize that even THINKING of indulging such a thought to see if it is true or not is a NO NO among mainstream Christianity.  Anyone knows that to touch this subject is like trying to handle a hot potato and risks being ostracize by his peers.  Words do not need to be straightforward to realize that there now resides a rift between relationships.

We know that when we come to reveal opposing views of doctrines that have been taught for hundreds of years without question and accepted as the norm, we usually end up with knee-jerk reactions by those who have held to these doctrines they have been taught. The end result is that the person opposing a doctrine taught for so long ends up at the end of a stick, whipped with name calling, loses relationships, and even going so far as to be told they are
