Abandoning the Faith?

I find it ironic that I have been accused by my friends that I am the one "abandoning the faith" and that "my salvation is in danger" because I have decided to renounce the traditional trinity teaching that is accepted as the norm. In the mean time they say I have "been warned" and they must walk away from the friendship, but will continue to pray for me in hopes that I "return to the faith." If I don’t, we all know what this means! I'm doomed for hell if I don't return to practicing to idolatry.

However, when I point out Scripture that warns us
of disobeying and ignoring what Jesus says, especially the first commandment (which I had done most of my life), and how John warns us about denying Jesus is the Christ and truly human, then they turn around and get all upset and accuse me of being in agreement with the accuser (Satan) against the brethren, because now they feel threatened, but it was okay for them to go around warning others about me and how my salvation is in danger! This is all quite amusing to me.

For one, I let the Scriptures speak for itself and it’s up to them to believe it or not.

The trinity doctrine denies that Jesus is 100 percent human, period. They have to add that he is also "100 percent God." This means that Jesus had to have “two natures.” There is nothing in the Bible that explains, implies, or says such a thing. Jesus never claimed to be God no matter how much one wants to read something into a few passages of Scriptures that are not there. Jesus always claimed to be the "Messiah," the "Son of God," not God himself. Jesus himself said there is only one true God (John 17:3) and that the Lord our God is one Lord (Mark 12:29)….not two or three Yahwehs!

Most will take some passages from the Gospel of John saying Jesus is claiming to be God, when all he did was claim to be the Messiah, the "Son of God" (ex. John 10:36). This is from the same John who tells us in 20:31, “But these are written, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God….” Not God Himself!

This same John writes in his epistles,
“And a liar is anyone who says that Jesus isn't truly Christ. Anyone who says this is an enemy of Christ and rejects both the Father and the Son.” 1Jn 2:22 (They deny Jesus is truly Christ by also claiming he is God at the same time.)
“And you can know which ones come from God. His Spirit says that Jesus Christ had a TRULY HUMAN BODY. But when someone doesn't say this about Jesus, you know that person has a spirit that doesn't come from God and is the enemy of Christ. You knew that this enemy was coming into the world and now is already here. 1Jn 4:2-3
“Many liars have gone out into the world. These deceitful liars are saying that JESUS CHRIST DID NOT HAVE A TRULY HUMAN BODY. But they are liars and the enemies of Christ.” 2Jn 1:7

“Don't keep changing what you were taught about Christ, or else God will no longer be with you. But if you hold firmly to what you were taught, both the Father and the Son will be with you.” 2Jn 1:9
It is deceitful and a lie for those who hold to the trinitarian doctrine and say that Jesus was truly human and then turn around and add that he was truly God as well. This is never taught anywhere in Scripture
